Paul Rapinz is a dad, endurance freak, cat lover, surfer, coffee snob and lover of bikes (and those who ride them).
Paul is LLB’s resident ultra endurance junky. Pick something long and arduous: yep, been there … Top 100 in Ironman Kona, check. Leadman, done. National team member in multiple disciplines. B.C. Bike Race and Breck Epic evangelist. His new addiction is enduro. He rides the local gnar like a champion, and you’ll see him on podiums at big enduro races.
Paul is also an experienced, skilled and intuitive coach. You’ll see that when you meet him!
I’m relatively new to mountain biking, having started a couple years ago and in my 40s. I struggled with anything more difficult than beginner trails. The MTB Bootcamp that Paul lead taught me a core set of foundational skills that allowed me to improve more in roughly a month than I had in the previous two years. In fact, after the class, I went for a ride on an intermediate level trail and noticed roughly a dozen spots I biked through that I couldn’t do without dismounting prior to the class.
Paul is high energy and can quickly diagnose how to improve results tailoring feedback at an individual level. He also keeps his feedback simple and his positive encouragement helps push you to levels difficult to achieve on your own. Best of all, the course is fun with great people. I highly recommend this course and Paul for anyone wanting to take their mountain biking to the next level.
