Leslie Zimmerman is a veteran, author, mother and coach. She hasn’t always been a badass on the bike. First she was a badass runner on the Army 10-Miler team and a badass medic. Leslie’s love for biking began when she met her husband Judd (LLB coach and all-around pretty okay human) 15 years ago. Alongside her husband Judd, she started the Pleasant Grove High School mountain bike team (in Pleasant Grove, UT) where she continues to coach today.
Leslie has been sharing her passion for mountain biking for the past seven years as the founder of the VeloLove Youth MTB Team. She began this program to give her own kids and the local community an outlet to learn how to mountain bike — and to enjoy the life-long sport safely. Leslie has inspired the love of mountain biking in her own family and has coached hundreds of athletes.
Her racing background is in Super-D and XC, but her true passion is endurance racing; 12, 18, 24-hour type sufferfests are her jam.
Leslie is an excellent communicator and has a bachelor’s degree in community health education. She is a highly skilled athlete and coach and has the ability to take riders to a higher level of shred.
How this works
Leslie’s hourly rate applies to up to six riders. It’s really fun to share the cost (and experience) with your family or friends.
